The Freegal® Movies and Television Application is a completely free and legal way to stream movies and television episodes via your local, subscribing library. The Freegal offering includes a variety of content for adults and kids from major content sources. As of this writing, the service is only available in the United States.

Once you have downloaded this application, you will be able to search to see if your local library has contracted for the Freegal service. If it has, you must have a valid library card (if not, call your local library). If you have a library card from a Freegal library, you can join the millions of people getting a select number of video streams courtesy of their local library.
